Banana, Walnut, Maple, and Oats Protein Smoothie

This banana, walnut, maple, and oats protein smoothie is how I do oatmeal as I’m rushing out the door. Throw it all in the blender and off I go. No bowl or spoon needed!


 

Banana, Walnut, Maple, and Oats Protein Smoothie

Prep time: 2 min. Serves: 1


Ingredients:

4-6 ice cubes

1 c. plant-based milk (pick your favorite, I've used oat milk and almond milk)

1 serving plant-based protein powder (here's my current favorite)

1/2 banana

1/4 c. rolled oats

1 Tb. maple syrup

1 Tb. chopped walnuts

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon


Equipment:

Blender with lid


Instructions:

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and put the lid on top

  • Blend well for at least 30 seconds

  • Pour smoothie into a glass

  • Top with more cinnamon, sliced banana, chopped walnuts, or anything you like (optional)
